The little rascal of the Date family. He is wild, arrogant, and ambitious. The Tobunkai doesn't know what to do with him. The only person who can keep him down is Sachiko, his childhood friend.

Destined Successor
Masamune Date's right eye was said to have a mystic power. After Bontenmaru was born, this boy with a special right eye was considered the destined successor of Masamune's will. Everyone who looked into his right eye would feel like they had nowhere to hide.
Fearless and courageous, Bontenmaru grew up under the family's careful education and high expectations. He believed he would become someone who could make the Date family great again.
However, Bontenmaru never bested his good friend, Sachiko. Not even once.
