The exploited
Glaucia, a new salaryman, managed to enter a top 500 company after a grueling series of interviews. Trying to manage her way through the drama and intrigue of office politics, Glaucia carefully carried out her work day by day. She was afraid of losing her intern position. The project manager seemed to like her, and told her in private that he was confident in Glaucia's dedicated work ethic.
Glaucia tried her best, but in the end, she was let go because there were "no open official positions left." When Glaucia said her farewells with the project manager, she overheard the truth. Her manager never thought fondly of Glaucia, and her position was already set to go to the manager's relative. He just wanted to use her, to be thrown away after she outlived her usefulness...
