Father's Compass
As far back as Swift could remember, her father would be hunched over studying an old compass, a relic of a famous navigator from centuries ago. When she secretly took it to take a look at it, it seemed like just an ordinary compass with a broken needle. She didn't understand why her father was so obsessed with it.
One night after she reached the age where she could navigate a ship by herself, her father ran to her crying tears of joy: the compass was fixed, or more accurately, it began working by itself again. However, the compass didn't point to the south, but to somewhere else, as if attracted by something important. Her father decided to sail far away, searching for where the compass was leading him.
